On Saturday April 17th 2010, record stores worldwide will celebrate the second annual Record Store Day with a flurry of special events, exclusive products and a unanimous party atmostphere. The industry may well be utterly fucked, but the indies fight on!
This year, we will be playing a set at Avalanche Records in Glasgow, this shop in which one of us works, and we rehearse, record and write in. We have recorded 4 tracks especially for the event, which will be released on a very, very limited edition CD. These will be on sale in Avalanche Glasgow on Record Store Day ONLY.
So, without any more dicking about, here's the tracklist:

Pretty fucked up tracklist for sure, and you really have no idea just how screwy this whole thing is. The first track, lovingly titled "Test The Pie" features 10 covers in one. The first person to name all 10 tracks referenced in it will win a YAK t-shirt! Now, don't worry if you can't get to Glasgow to buy a CD on the 17th, the track will feature in a YAKtv episode soon, at which point the competition will officially begin.
